Christmas 2008 at the Losee Home

Every year Grandma Cowley buys the girls new Christmas dresses. Aren't they beautiful girls.

And Grandma Losee buys them new PJ's.

They are still beautiful even when they just woke up.
We almost had a white Christmas this year. Terry welcoming the snow on Christmas Eve.
Jantzyn with Fancy Nancy's Dog Frency.

Jaicelyn got a baby. Santa specially made her to look just like Jaice.
Jorrin with her new DS.
Jadyn finally got a cellular device (as she calls it). As you can see from Jor's expression she couldn't believe it either.

Christmas on Broadway...The girls dance recital 2008

On Saturday Dec 20th (right during the Las Vegas bowl...Terry wants everyone to know), the girls had their christmas dance recital.

All the girls after the show. Aren't they cute!

Ugliest Christmas Sweater Ever!

For my work dinner party we had to wear the ugliest christmas sweater we could find. Terry and I looked and couldn't find anything ugly enough so we decided to make our own....needless to say we won for the best couple!

SnOw DaY!

On Thursday Dec 18th (my Dads B-day) the girls were all out of school for a snow day. They had a ball sleding and being out in the snow all day. I wish I could have played with them but of course there is no such thing as a work snow day. Can you see Robyn and Adam's House?

Jaice, Jantzyn and Kylie (our neighbor), sleding down the street.

The black hill all covered in snow.

Our Yearly Weekend Away

For the last three years Jorrin and Jaicelyn have been in the Dickens Festival's plays "Oliver" and "Scrooge". They were there four nights in a row and did 10 shows. They loved every minute of it. I, however, am a little burned out and told them this is their last year. Jorrin promised she'd do anything (just like the song in Oliver) to be in it next year. We will see what we can come up with and if she really will do anything.

Jaicelyn the orphan. She was perfect for this part since she usually ends up looking this way by the end of every day anyway.

Jaicelyn selling matches to the director (Matt whom they love) in Scrooge.

Jorrin the pick pocket.
Jorrin the townsperson in Scrooge.

All 7 of the cousins that were in the plays. Talen, Jorrin, Jaicelyn, Tavin, Calli, Kassidy, and Sadie. This was taken after everything was over. They were all crying and sooo sad it was done.

The Best Christmas Pagent Ever!!

Our family had the oportunity to be in the Nativity at Tuachan with our ward this year. Our family were all angels (you know it will never happen again in this lifetime, we are more on the devil side most of the time).

Terry doing his Garth from Wayne's World impersonation. "I'm not worthy".

Our family of Angels.

Getting ready for the show.

Terry's parents took pictures of our debut performance. Jantzyn was a little nervous up on the cat walk.
The 3 other girls were on the other side (they wanted to go through the tunnel, and Jantzyn did not!).

Panthera Reunion

On Saturday I went to the Pine View High Panthera Drill Team reunion. It has been 20 years since I graduated and probably 18 since I have seen our advisor Sheri Hill. She has terminal cancer and has really wanted to get together with the girls she was advisor to. It was so fun to see her (she looks and acts just the same) and the girls I spent almost everyday with for 2 years of my life. Everyone looked so good and it was fun to hear what they were all up too and about their families.

There was lots of food but everyone was so busy talking that noone really ate. There were girls there from all the years Sheri was over Pantheras. These are the girls I was in it with.

Christy (Tobler) Jenkins, Kelli (Whitaker) Brinkerhoff, Julie (Smith) Spriggs, Margo (Bostwick) Lister, Me, Christy (Palmer) Roesch, Sheri (Hill) Lamb, Stacy (Losee) Peterson.

My Girls

Jorrin decided she wanted to do the school "Gekathon" (a mini tri-athalon). So we trained a little and she showed up last wednesday to see if she could do it. She ended up finishing under an hour in 21st place out of 50 or so girls. We are so proud of her!

Jor waiting to start the swimming portion.

Swimming one of the 12 laps they had to complete.

Running to the dressing room to hurry and get ready for the biking portion. I couldn't believe how fast she changed and made it out to her bike (she has never gotten ready that fast at home before).

Jor on her stroll. She liked the biking part the best. She didn't even look like she was trying and she past most of the girls that were ahead of her swimming.
They had to ride their bikes from Sand Hollow to Lava Ridge Int.

Running her second lap of the 2.3 miles they had to run.

She doens't look any worse for wear. Jor right after she finished.
Way to go Jor we love you!

My Girls...Continued

One of Jadyn's last soccer games of the season. This is the third season they have played as a team and they are getting so much better. Even from the beginning of the season to now, you can see the improvment. We are so proud of her and the player she is becoming.
