Valentines 2012

This year for valentines everyone was busy. So we kind of celebrated throught the week. I gave each of the girls and Terry a Valentine bag full of goodies and some something little. Terry left me some yummy chocolates from See's on my pillow and I took him a cute monkey balloon and some treats and left them on his desk at work. On Fri. we were finally able to go out for our Valentine dinner at Brick Oven (it was fun to watch Tavin hard at work). Jadyn also got her valentine from Jake a day early since she had to work on Valentines.

It was hard work to get them to pose for the picture here is the process....

The finaly result (as you can tell I am still trying to figure out my camera).

On Valentines Day Jadyn went during school and decorated Jakes truck and left him a card with 2 movie tickets to see the Vow and a gift certificate for a frozen yogurt for after.

Watch out! Jorrin is driving

Jorrin turned 15 in October but she didn't care as much as Jadyn to get her permit right away (she didn't want to read the manual). But i finally gave her a deadline of January 31st, so she can do her driving in the summer. I took her that day (with her studying on the way) and she passed it on her 2nd try!

One of the few times of her studying (like the night before we went).
Jorrin so proud of her permit.

Terry's Dream come true

Terry's dad called and said he was able to get some tickets to the Jazz game and even though it was on a Wednesday and they would have to drive up and back the same day he couldn't pass it up.One of many of Ben's pit stops.
Yes they made it.
This is how close to the floor they were. A dream come true for Terry (usually we are up in the nose bleed section).
Enjoying the game.....
the Jazz bear....
and of course the entertainment (the Jazz Girls)!

Even though the Jazz lost in overtime and they got home at 3:00 in the morning it was worth it and he would do it again in a second.!

Jaicelyn's Give Me Liberty program

Jaice is following in her sister's footsteps (after much prodding from Terry & I) she got her Give Me Liberty Award. On Feb 8th they had their program and award ceremony.

She was asked to sing the prelude song, and they sang it over and over again. JK it was great!
Singing her patriotic songs.
Saying her part of the program. She got to introduce some very famous men in history!
receiving her award.
So proud!
With her teacher Mrs. Stucki
And some of her friends. I think her favorite part about working hard and accomplishing her goal was Terry and I taking her to Krave. Someday she will be happy about the rest of it.

Jorrin's Eshelle Clinic Dance

After a lot of going back and forth Jorrin has decided to try out for Eshelle's this year. One of her best friends sisters is on the team and loves it. They were having a clinic for girls thinking of trying out, so Jor decided to do it. She did great and I think she has a really good chance of making it. We will keep you updated the end of March as to how she did. But for now a few pictures of her dance at the clinic.
