Random April Events

We attended our last ever multi school choir concert at Tuachan.  We have been coming to these for at least 11 years.  It was a course freezing just like almost every other year we have gone, but they did an awesome job and i was actually a little sad it was over.

We took the girls to the Dixie State Homecoming carnival.  Had their yummy hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and water.  And the girls (jantz and her friend Megan, were the only ones we could get to go with us) had fun on all the jump houses and playing games.

Jantz came to my work and helped me do some filing.

She was so excited about her huge jaw breaker sucker she got !

and Jantzyn's team finished their soccer season as the undefeated champs!!!

Major League Softball

A lot of the girls on Jantzyn's soccer team play softball.  So we asked her if she wanted to try it again this year.  She decided she would and tried out.  She was probably one of the tiniest girls out there (as usual) but she got better each game.  She usually played out field and did a good job not letting anything by.  She got a little frustrated with hitting though, but finally got a couple of good hits by the last game.  She told us softball is not her thing and she is done.  Oh, well at least she tried it, right?

Easter 2015/General Conference

It's amazing but the Easter Bunny still finds us each year.  This year it happened to be on conference. It worked well too, the girls got up checked out their loot and snacked on it all during conference.

My and Terry's piles

Jadyn and Jake's loot

the other girls definitely did not get forgotten

They also kept themselves entertained other ways too!

Jantzyn trying to turn on the light with her feet!! What can I say our house is never dull!!!

Jadyn Turns the big 20!!!

I can't believe its been 20 years since this beautiful girl has made me a mommy!!!  I am so thankful Jadyn graced us with her presents.  I has been the best 20 years!!  This year for her b-day I decided to try to make my own Asphalt Pie.  I think it turned out pretty good.  We also took Jay and Jake to dinner at her favorite Outback to celebrate!!!

Jaicelyn runs for student council

Jaicelyn decided (more like we made her) run for student council for (9th grade).  She decided she wanted to run for the elected position of Women's Rep.  She worked hard on her poster and had to get up in front of the school and do a 1 min speech for the first cut.  She made it two the final elections and had to make a skit and video with her running party, she also had to have interviews with the principal and the teacher over student council and turn in letters of recommendation from all of her teachers along with her grade transcript.  She didn't end up winning but it was a good experience and she met some new friends.  I am so proud of her and all she has accomplished this 8th grade year.  It has not been an easy year for her but she has come away being a better person from everything she went through this year.

Jorrin Junior Prom with Duncan

Duncan asked Jor to his Jr Prom at Dixie.  She was a little nervous to go to a different school'a dance but very excited to go with Duncan.
They love to watch the Gossip Girl show together so Duncan's sister helped him come up with the cutest way to ask her (You have to watch the show to understand it, i guess) and she loved it!!!

Jor came up with an equally cute (Gossip Girl related way) to answer him back.

Three days before the dance Jor found out it was a masquerade ball and that she needed a mask
Masked crusaders to the rescue.

Give me and little time (and pinterest) and .....

wah lah...The perfect mask to make the night magical

it matched her dress perfectly

She wanted me to try to pin the coursage and when i couldn't

she took matters in to her own hands.

"wow that was too easy"

beautiful couple

they had so much fun together and she even got along with the other girls that went to Dixie.
