Nippy November

I don't know why but for some reason we are the lucky ones that pick the coldest BYU game of the year.  This is the second year we have been to a freezing game and this time there was still snow all over the stadium.  We had fun anyway and the kids (and me) made it until the end of the 3rd quarter.  By that time BYU was putting all the 3rd string players in and we wanted to get to our favorite hamburger joint before it closed.  So we packed it up, peeled our blankets off of the frozen benches, and will always have fun memories of another freezing BYU game.

By the time we were done eating it was 12:30 and the girls were out.

We stayed with Stacy and Ben and the kids had so much fun playing in the snow.

We also stopped and saw our new little niece and cousin Ruby.  The girls all love holding her.

The girls sleeping again.  They slept most of the way home.

On Nov 17th Jadyn and Jorrin went in the same group for Sadies and had so much fun.
The girls with one of their friends Taylor getting ready for the day date.
Jadyn and her cute date Braxton.
They went roller skating in Veyo and had hoagies for lunch.  They said it was a lot of fun.

The theme this year was "Night in Neon".  I think their hoodies turned out very cute.

Jor and her cute date Joe!

Every year Lava Ridge has a mini tri-athalon called the Geka-thon.  Jaice couldn't wait to do it this year and she did great!

Jantzyn has never had a real Christmas tree so Terry and I thought it would be fun to get one this year.  When I asked Jantzyn if she thought it would be fun to have a real tree instead of a fake one she said no.  But a while later we were driving in the car and she asked said "Wait if we get a real tree can we still put lights and ornaments on it?"  After i told her we could she said "then yes, i want a real one".  I guess in her mind it took a while to figure out that it we wouldn't just put a tree up and leave it without decorations.  We went up to Cedar Mt on Wed the 21st and had so much fun searching for our perfect tree and then drinking hot chocolate to warm us up after all the tree hunting.

The finished "perfect" Christmas Tree!

This year for Thanksgiving Austin, Marianne and their girls came down.  It was small but nice, although we missed the rest of our family and wish they could have been with us.  Jaice and Jantz took Jenna down to the church to play in the leaves and they had so much fun.   The older girls took turns holding Ruby the whole weekend. We didn't have anyone playing in the soccer thanksgiving tournament  and I didn't even get up for the Black Friday sales this year, that's how relaxing the weekend was.

Hope everyone else had as wonderful a Thanksgiving weekend as we did.  Now on to December,  dance competitions and Christmas.
