Jadyn and Jake are engaged....Finally!

On Fri June 6th we went to see the opening of Wizard of Oz.  During intermission I looked at my phone and saw a text from Jakes mom Marilee that said "How did it go".  I was a little confused and wondered what she meant.  Earlier that day Jake and Terry had gone to lunch and Jake had asked Terry for Jadyn's hand in marriage.  But he had said he was going to do it the next day.  So i replied to her "do you mean the lunch?" and she answered back that Jake was going to ask Jadyn at tuachan and he had the ring with him.  I told her that he hadn't yet and that they had gone to the bathroom and when they came back there was no ring on her finger.  She told me he was very nervous and maybe he had chickened out.  So i sat and wondered the 2nd half of the show if he still might at the end.  

After the show Lacey insisted we get a group shot and had us go off to the side by ourselves to take it.  I wondered if maybe she knew something.  Sure enough after what we thought of her taking a picture, Jadyn started to walk up to look at it and Jake grabbed her and said wait i need to ask you something, he got down on one knee and everyone let out a gasp as we all realized what was happening.  Jay's face was so surprised.  He totally got her she had no clue.  It was sweet and perfect and I am so glad we got to be there for it.  Her ring is gorgeous and she is soo happy.

Some Summer

Jantzyn's fish "Flippers" is happy in his home.

Terry was so relaxed one sunday that he let Jaice paint his toenails.

We enjoyed the cooler weather out side

Had lots of visits from family

Jantzyn and her team said goodbye to one of their awesome coaches Kimball Leavitt.

Jantzyn and sophie were going on a hike up the mountain, except Jantzyn forgot shoes and had to run back to put them on.

Mom watched Bryton and Teegan while Whit and Kayson were in England so they got to do lots of fun things with them.  They went to the children's museum, went swimming, got smoothies, went to Jumping Jacks, and just hung out.

We went and saw the opening night of Wizard of Oz at Tuachan.  It was really good and everyone loved it.

Trip up North

Kayson had his graduation on Thur May 30th and Bryton's baptism on May 31st.  So we loaded up and headed up north for the weekend.

We are so proud of Kayson for Graduating.  He made it by the skin of his teeth.  Up north the graduations are a little more official and they didn't like anyone yelling in between each name called.  But we were so glad Kayson did it we didn't care and cheered for him anyway.

In between the Graduation and baptism we did a couple of fun things.  We went and saw Malificent with everyone and it was a lot of fun and everyone loved the movie.  We went and got Cafe Rio and we also went to Menchies.  My kids love eating out when they get a chance since we don't do it very often.

On Sat we were able to see cute little Bryton get baptized.  

while we were up north so was Jor she went to EFY at BYU from May 26-31st, with one of her besties Adrianna.  She loved every second of it.  I drove down sat morning and picked them up and drove them back up to whits for the baptism and boondocks.

After the baptism we went to Boondocks to celebrate Kayson, Teegan (straight A's) and Bryton's big days.

The kids loved it and had so much fun.

Jantzyn with her tickets.  It looked like alot but i think it was only 170.  While me and Jantz were at the counter trade in her tickets for prizes a guy asked if we had used ours yets.  I told him we hadn't so he told the guy behind the counter put the rest of my tickets on hers.  He then said im number 2 by the way.  So we looked up at number 2 and he had 530 tickets left.  Jantzyn was so excited.  She got everything she wanted and then some.

It was a fun weekend up north making family memories.
