We still had lots to do the rest of December for our countdown until Christmas.
We took the kids and friends to the temple and Park on Dixie rock to look at the lights.
Went to see Star Wars in 3-D
Jor did eyelashes for Jadyn and Jaice
made a cute answer for Jaicelyn junior prom date. ( of course I forgot to get a picture of how he asked her but it was cute he gave her a carmel apple from Rocky Mountain that said. Don't be sour cause Im asking so late, but it would be sweet if you would go to JP with me).
On Chritmas Eve sunday the girls opened their dresses from Gma and we headed to sacrament.

Then we decided to wait for Austin's family to come down on the 27th to have our Christmas dinner together so we had soup bowls on Christmas Eve this year and it turned it very fun and easy!
Then we headed out to look at Christmas lights. This is always one of my favorite things the girls are so funny and we just laugh the whole time. This night was no different. On our way to look at lights we had Ashley's Christmas gift in a bag in the car and decided to try to drop it off. She still wasn't home so we left it on the porch. As we were driving around Jaice got a text from her saying thanks for the gift and wondered if the one black footie sock that was also in the bag was hers. Somehow one of Jantzyn's socks fell into her bag. We were laughing so hard and Jaicelyn's response was so funny. She told her what had happened and said "ya, Im going to need that back". Then Ashley told her she kindof wanted to keep it. And Jaicelyn promised her everything else in the bag was not used. We couldn't stop laughing about it all night.

Since the girls knew there wasn't going to be anything under the tree they decided they would sleep in the family room with the tree. Terry and I had to be super quiet to put the couple things they did get and the stocking stuffers out and I couldn't believe they slept through it all but they did. This is how we found them in the morning.

The girls each had two presents. Jor got some Victoria Secret lotion and a box of hot cereal with a Smiths grocery gift card.
Jantzyn got new Nike cleats and an outfit.
Jaicelyn got new Nike cleats and an outfit too!
Terry got a shirt (I got for a $1 after my coupons)!
We always take a picture of the after math, this years was a little smaller but still made a mess.
As soon and Jadyn and Jake arrived we opened the gift for the family. A Disneyland Christmas puzzle for the girls to work on that day. And Terry put in the video of our trip he hurried and finished for Christmas. We just enjoyed being together the rest of the day and ate a yummy Christmas roast for Dinner with my mom and dad.
On december 30th we headed up to Cedar to try out the skating rink with Marianne and the girls. We had so much fun!! The weather and ice were perfect and 1 1/2 hours was just the right amount of time. We will definitely do this again next year!
I love how Jantzyn started out skating with her arm flailing. She reminded me of Phobe on friends when she runs...haha. But by the end of the day she had it down and was skating really well!
Jaice got so good by the end she even thought she could do tricks!!
Jantzyn usually never naps but this was a rare Sunday when she and jaice fell asleep together. So I had to get some proof!
Since New Years Eve was on a Sunday we decided to keep it simple we had the kids come over for dinner and games. Then when they left me Terry and Jantzyn rang in the New year together!!
