Terry's B-day weekend

Since the time Kassi made the Herriman drill team, the girls and I had been planning on going up to watch the state competition.  It happened to end up being on the same weekend as Terry's b-day, the Superbowl, and Emery's blessing.  So we decided to make it a family trip.  We got up Saturday and headed up to JCW's to meet every one for lunch.  After we headed over to the competition and watched Kassi and her team do awesome.  They were so fun to watch and it was fun to be at a drill competition again.  They ended up coming in 5th which we were a little shocked by they should of gotten at least 3rd or 4th but you never know with judges.  After we went to Brick Oven and back to the hotel getting to sleep around 12.  We got up early Sunday and headed to Emery's blessing then over to Brittany's parents for lunch and then headed home to finish the super bowl at my moms.  Terry had a great 50th just relaxing and having it low key.

Rest of January

I had asked my mom and dad to send me some pictures they had found the night my dad had told us about his army experience so I wanted to put them in the blog to remember their fun (or not so fun) newlywed army days.
 He was one handsome solider!

Jaice cut Terry's hair and he gave her a $4 tip!! She was so excited!

MLK Vegas Cup tournmament

This is always one of my favorite tourmament's the girls do.  Teams come from all over the country to compete in this tourney.  This year the girls played a team from Salt lake (which had way more horrible language than any of the other teams from around the country we played), Tennessee, Texas, and California.  The first game was Friday night at 5.  The weather was beautiful and wasn't too cold at all.  They won the game 3-1.  After the game we met Brandon and Tracy at Cafe Rio for dinner and then went back to their house to visit and stay over.  We got up early sat for a 9:15 game which they won 4-1 and then headed back to Brandon's to rest and get ready for the next game at 3:30 which they tied 1-1 (Jantzyn scored the goal for us).  We headed home Saturday night.  Went to church Sunday and then headed back down to Brandon's since their first game Monday would be at 8.  That was a win of 3-1 (Jantzyn scored 2), we then played the Championship game at 11:45 winning 2-0.  I don't think I have ever seen these girls play so well together.  It might have been the fact they knew college coaches were watching.  But it was so fun!
After the win we went to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate with our friends the Nielsons and then headed home again.

I've always wanted a picture of this sign and finally remembered!

Fri and Saturday's games weather was great...Monday not so much.  It was very windy and cold!!

She looked like the demi gorgan from Stranger things...haha!

Love every single one of these girls...
