More July happenings

These girls have worked there butts of this month.  They have had practices at 6:00 on tues and thurs and on Mon, Wed, and Fri they have had acceleration at 8:00.  The come home exhausted and take a lot of naps together.
But it was worth is.  Look at their huge smiles.  All that hard work paid off.  They both made it into the Cheetah Club at acceleration.  So proud of them!!
Tim tried to face time Jaice one sunday and it kept freezing so they ended up snap chatting each other.  This has definitely been hard on both of them.  Jaice is not a very patient person and waiting for him has been hard. But she has ended up being a awesome military girl friend.  She has written him everyday.  I literally mean everyday.  She has not missed one day writing to him.  He told her he gets the most mail in his platoon and loves it.  Even though he has to do push ups to get it.  He said he would do hundreds if it means he keeps getting letters.  He has been good at writing to her too and she lives to check the mail everyday.  Last sunday she didn't get a call and she was very sad but she knew they were doing 3-4 day training out in the fields so he might not be able to.  But he surprised her with a call on wed for 20 minutes.  She was so happy!!
She also finally got a job.  And I think it fits her perfectly.  Meet the newest Swig employee!!
She was happy cause she had a chance to try out her new vans, and they were comfy and got her through her first shift.

La Roca Tournament and Cabin Weekend

This year was Jantzyn's last two tournaments with her Coach Montana.  So Terry and I decided to head to the tournament with Jantzyn while the other girls went to the cabin on thurs.  The tournament was in north sale lake.  We ended up taking one of the girls on the team with us for the weekend.  Jantzyn and her are both quiet but what started out quiet ended up with them talking the rest of the weekend.

Our first game was at 6:45 the girls played really well and jantzyn scored an awesome goal. But they ended up losing 2-1. After thur nights game they didn't have any team things planned so we went to dinner with one of the families we are close to on the team.  We had never been to the Old Spagetti factory so we decided to try it and it was good.  Especially their house salad. We even got to sit in a trolly to eat dinner.  It was fun visiting with them and the girls had a good time.  Jantzyn loved her macaroni and cheese and ate every bite of it.

 Jantzyn, Emalee, and Ellie
my yummy raviolis (I had to send a picture to Jaice, these are her favorites).

game two was saturday morning at 8:00.  They didn't have a great game but hung in there until the end.

team breakfast/brunch at Kneeders.
We had the smallest microwave in our room.  So small Jantzyn couldn't even get her head in it.  haha!

We had some time in between games so we took the girls and went down town to look at all the old houses in the avenues and went up to Ensign peak to look over the city (it was almost pioneer day after all).

On to game three.  They played better in this game but just couldn't pull of the win.

I love love watching this girl play!!

Saturday morning we Terry got our tire fixed (we got a huge metal piece in it from all the road construction in Salt Lake) and then we headed to the cabin.

 "Boy Talk"

These three spent most of Saturday making bracelets for everyone.  They were troopers but loved doing it.

One of our many walks.  It's one of my favorite things to do at the cabin take walks with Terry right after a rain storm.
One of Tracy's yummy sugar cookies!

Girls Camp 2018

The girls were supposed to leave for girls camp at 9:30 but because there was bad weather on Cedar Mt.  They postponed it until they knew it would be safe.  They ended up leaving around 1:30.  They girls said it did rain but it wasn't bad enough that they couldn't do what they had planned.  They both said it was their favorite girls camp they had been too. And both didn't want to come home.  Terry and I enjoyed our couple of days alone.  We went out to dinner, watched some movies we wanted to and just relaxed together not having to run any kids anywhere or worry where they were.

Jaice loses some teeth.

She is the only one of all 4 girls to have all 4 wisdom teeth.  And her two lower ones were getting very close to her nerve.  So we decided we better get them out while we had time before things get really crazy for the summer.  She got them out thurs July 5th.  She was nervous but didn't really show it.  She loved the girls that got her prepped and put her iv in.  She was hilarious after it was over.  She was so worried about making sure she told the nurses, doctor, staff, anyone she saw really; thank you.  The nurse was telling me that the bleeding should stop faster if she would keep biting down on the cotton roll.  But she would not stop talking to do it...Haha!! She was definitely a "chatty cathy" type.  She talked the whole way home.  Including telling the worker at Tropical smoothie thank you from the back seat.  And also the pharmacy tech at Walgreens.  Hopefully neither one of them could hear her but she was trying hard to make sure they knew they were thanked.  The only time she cried was for a second when she came out of the anesthesia and when she was telling us how much she missed Tim.  It was cute and very heart felt.  It made me a little teary eyed knowing how much she really does miss him.  She did say she would move any where with him but that she didn't want to live on a farm because she didn't want to wear cowboy boots.  Haha!! She kept talking until around 4 then she crashed and felt crappy for the next 5 days. Her cheeks got very swollen and she didn't feel very good so we took lots of drives just so she could get out of the house.   She also ended up having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic and got hives all over her body.  Luckily she was almost done taking it and so we just stopped and they went away in a couple of days. She woke up at 12:30 am on the day they were supposed to go to girls camp.  So I ran and got her some benadryl to take so she could make it through until they went away.

Sam came over to sit with her while I had to go to work for a while.

after the pain meds wore off.
 my chubby cheek Jaice.
Tim got to facetime her on Sunday when she still was very swollen and not feeling very good but he still loves her anyway.  One of the things she worried about while she was high.
Love both of those happy faces so much!! They light up when each other is around!

The hives all over her face while she was at girls camp.  They started on her body and ended up on her face too.
