Happy Birthday yesterday to Jorrin! I know its a little late and she will tell you that she doesn't like her birthday so close to halloween because of this very reason, she gets skipped over. But I want her to know we don't love her any less and we know she would never let us forget her birthday. I just wanted to put this picture up. When I think of Jorrin I always remember her 2nd grade school picture. She didn't have her ears pierced yet and apparently wanted to wear earrings so she snuck some clip on earrings in her backpack and put them on right before pictures. This was also back when big earrings weren't in again yet. So to my surprise these are the pictures she brought home. She has always had her own style and not cared what everyone else is wearing (as long as she thinks she looks good) she puts together very cute outfits that I would never think of.

Jadyn's Road to State Soccer
This season has been another fun, intense, up and down season. The next few blogs (there are other blogs I updated too) are her state tournament games. The team has awesome, good, hard working, smart, beautiful, girls and I am so happy Jadyn has been able to associate with them. I couldn't ask for anything better for her to learn and grow then by her living and loving soccer like she does. We as a family have also learned alot again just this year from soccer and hope to continue to grow the next 2 years. I can't believe this year's season is already over and I am so excited for next year to start.
P.S. We just learned that Jadyn and many of her teammates, made the 1st All Region team for 4A. Congrats Jadyn! Keep working hard and you will go far in soccer and life.

1st Round playoff game SC vs. Payson
On Sept 23 in their game against Hurricane, Jadyn dislocated her knee cap. We took her in to an Orthopedic and he said the muscle that hold the knee cap over was not devleoped enough yet. He had us go to a physical therapist and get some exercises to help her strengthen it and ordered a brace that she will have to wear the rest of her soccer career. He finally gave her the ok to play again for the play off games. So after 2 1/2 weeks of not being able to practice or play the final 3 games of the season, Jadyn was ready to get back out there for the playoffs. Oct 12th was the day.
The fans ready for playoffs to begin.

Quarter Final Game against Sky View
On Thurs Oct 14th the girls played SkyView at Snow Canyon. One of the reasons the girls wanted to win region so bad this year was to have the chance to play two play off games at home. I think this was a huge factor in the 1-0 win over Sky View. It was a long, hot game but they played hard and the SC defense held Sky View's offense the whole game. The girls giving thanks for a great season.

Semi Final Game
On Mon Oct 18th we headed up to north to watch Jadyn play in their Semi Final game against Timpanogos. The team left around 11:00 that morning and Terry the girls and I headed up around 3:00. We decided to make a mini vacation out of the trip. We ate at Sizzler in Provo and stayed at the Hampton at Thanksgiving Point on Mon night. Tues we got up ate a yummy hotel breakfast (it was actually one of the best continental breakfast I've ever had), and headed over to Juan Diego High School for the game that started at 11:00.
The family enjoying themselves in the hot tub.
The starters taking the field.
Getting ready to be announced. Jadyn looks like she is trying to get mentally ready.
The farthest a girls soccer team from the south has ever gotten in the playoffs.
Of course the girls had their fans there too. They were great the whole season.
Rallying together at half time.
Still supporting each other even after a tough loss. 1-0.Posted by Five Girls And A Guy at 8:47 AM 0 comments
The boys are back in town
Whitney and the boys came down over fall break weekend. We started off the weekend with them watching Jadyn play the quarterfinal soccer playoff game (and melting in the heat). THat night Me, Jorrin, and Whitney went shopping and got some really good deals. On Fri. they played all day, climbed the hills around the house, watched some halloween movies and ate yummy Chili with ghost potatoes on top. Saturday they played some more and made Haunted Halloween Houses. That night we had pumkin cupcakes and they played some more. Jadyn and Kayson were gone the whole time with friends so I guess they had fun too.
The kids (and grandma helping) with their creations

Uncle Ben's Bike ride
Terry's family has ALWAYS been there to support our families activites. So this time when we learned Ben was riding in a 100 mile bike ride we wanted to be there for him.
The kids waiting for him to ride in at the finish line.

Jantzyn meets the Tooth Fairy
A couple of weeks ago Jantzyn lost her first tooth. After weeks of it being loose, biting into apples, and wiggling till it hurt, she finally let Terry pull it out. She recieved a nice letter from her tooth fairy Tina and $2.00 to spend on something fun. She was very excited and can't wait for her next one to fall out.
