A couple of random pictures

Jaicelyn had a spa night for YW in April and loved it.  She came home with purple goop all over her face.  She said it was supposed to make her skin silky smooth.

One of the cute girls I work with was turning 24 and had a 80's theme skating b-day party (on the same day as the funeral and senior ball, whew what a day).  We all got in the spirit and dressed up.  I am so mad I forgot my camera, but the girls loved skating.  It was Jantzyn's first time and by the end of the night she almost had it.  I think another time and she will be a pro.  They both came home wanting skates for their b-days and Jaice wants to do her b-day party there this year.

The girls had so much fun having me show them how I use to do my hair everyday (the wing look you can see on Jantzyn).  Terry went with the preppy look. He rolled his pants and wore his block color high tops. Our family got a lot of compliments.  Is it sad Terry and I still have these clothes in our closet?

Senior Ball

Both Jadyn and Jorrin went to senior ball this year.  It was the first and last formal they will be at together.  It was fun to help them both get ready.

I can't tell  you how hard it is to get them to both smile at the same time.

But once they do, they are Beautiful

Such a fun year having them in high school together.  I know they don't think so now but in a couple months they will miss it.

Jorrin went with Joe Nicholls.  It was her first time trying to put on a boutineer

after a few attempts I jumped in and helped.

The corsage was a little easier.

Aren't they cute!
Jorrin spent her day date, eating breakfast at Denny's, and roller skating at the roller rink in Veyo.
Joe picked her up at 5:00 (really it ended up being 5:35) for pictures and then dinner at one of the boy's   houses.  After the dance they went hot tubbing.  She said she had a very fun time, especially since she was nervous for her first formal.

Jadyn went with one of her good friends Jonah Tuttle

she also had trouble (you'd think after 3 years she would be a pro, but I don't think she has ever actually put it on without me helping).

Again corsage...easy.

They look cute together too.
Jadyn spent her date eating breakfast at one of the boy's houses and playing sand volley ball.  Jonah picked her up at 6:00 (really 6:25) they had pictures and ate dinner in a very beautifully decorated tent  at one of the boys houses.  Jadyn said dinner was amazing and she had a great time.

Jake wasn't able to take Jadyn to the dance but wanted to have her last high school "dance" be with him so at midnight he knocked on the door dressed in church clothes with 2 dozen roses and they danced the last dance to "their song".

I being the mom I am got dressed and out of bed and took pictures (Jake said he knew i would).

Jadyn will always remember her senior ball.

Terry's belated B-day present

The night we went to the Jazz game in Feb, Terry went to see how much the Bon Jovi tickets were and decided to buy them at the same time.  After, he looked at the actual date and we realized it was on a Wed.  So we made a quick trip out of it.  We both worked on Wed. until 12:00 then we stopped at Durango's and got lunch.  After leaving sunny St. George we headed through a blizzard to get to freezing Salt Lake in time to eat dinner at Outback.  Terry loves their Salad Wedges.  Then we headed to the Energy Solutions Arena to watch his favorite group.
My favorite part of the trip I love Durango's

We got their a little early and while we walked around we saw Alema and Thurl broadcasting the Jazz game.
Waiting for the show to start.
It was a really good show, to a very packed house.  After is was over we drove to Austin's and crashed for the night.  We got up at 7:30 headed home and Terry was back to work my noon.  A very fast but fun trip.

Eshelle Tryouts...here we go again!

This year they had 26 girls tryout and 21 made it.  Jor was in a very interesting group.  She was the only returner in her group of 4 that ended up being only 3 since one girl dropped out.  She looked very good in tryouts and even though she had been on it before I was still nervous for her.  My mom, Jadyn and Terry were with me watching this year and Terry was so proud of himself.  He picked all the ones that would make it this year.

In between tryout and the time we were to find out who made it, we took the two little girls to the college for D-week carnival.

Jaice couldn't wait to ride the zip line.

Jantzyn was just happy to do the bounce houses and eat all the treats.

the girls also played lots of games and we ate yummy bbq hamburgers.

the big hit of the carnival was the fun photo booth.

 Back to the tryout results.
 Jor and Jordyn
Looking forward to another fun year for these two.
the new team with their letters.

Jorrin was named as an officer this year.  She will be an assistant Drill Mistress. Which means she helps make up the routines.  She is very excited and nervous for this opportunity.  i know she will be great at it.

Jantzyn's 3rd Grade Field Trip

Thurs was her track meet and Fri was her field trip.  I wasn't able to take both days off so Terry took off Fri and went on her field trip with her.  She loved having her Dad get to go with her.  They went to Snow Canyon State Park and she had a lot of fun.

Jantzyn runs like the wind

I have always loved watching my girls run their school track meet.  This year Jantzyn was old enough to follow in her sister's footsteps and she qualified to run all of the races but she chose to do the 50 and the 100.  She came in 2nd in the 50 and 3rd in the 100 in her heats and in the finals she came in 4th in both of them.  Pretty good for her first year.
