Jaicelyn says yes to the dress!!

Jaicelyn had been looking at dresses for a while and had found one she really liked online.  I had checked and The Boulevard Bridal had it in her size.  So we made an appointment on a Wednesday night knowing  Jor would be here that weekend.  But because of COVID we could ony have 4 total.  So we went on Wed. with me, Kaleen (Kiels mom) and Jaices best friend Addie.  The assistant had already pulled the dress and had it all ready for us, it was very pretty on Jaice but she just wasn't as excited as she thought she'd be.  She had seen one hanging on the rack and said "maybe i'll try this one on just to see".  Holy cow when she walked out in that we all knew it was the one.  It was so gorgeous on her her body and she was just beaming in it, especially when she added the veil.  She still wanted to make sure and knew the girls were going to come with her the next day. She tried them both on for the girls and they all three unanimously said the 2nd one.

Jaicelyn and Kiel go to Florida and big things happen

 

Pre story:  While we were in California and we were at the park on Coronado Island waiting for the other kids to get there Terry got out to look at the view and texted and told Kiel there was a pull up bar and he wanted to have a contest.  After the contest the two of them were just out there talking and that was when he had asked Terry if he could marry Jaice.  He told him she had stolen his heart and he wanted to be with her forever.  It was later that night Terry told me.  So we knew this was coming!!

Kiel's dad lives in Florida and when Kiel had told him he had met someone at that he wanted to marry her he planned a trip for Kiel, Jaice, and Kiels two brother's Alex (and his GF Whitney) and Parker to come out August 14-20.  Kiel decided that would be when he asked Jaice.  Jaicelyn and Kiel had been to ring designer and were waiting for the ring to be done.  But Kiel told jaice and us that the ring wasn't going to be done in time.  So we were all a little worried how Jaice would react..haha  But the night before he proposed (the last day they were there) he sent me this snap chat!

They had so much fun. They went to Hollywood studios the first day, and then a fun water park, they went kayaking in a clear boat that would make the water change colors under neath.  And spent time visiting all Kiels Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandma.  Jaice loved meeting them and they were so nice to her! 

But this was probably her favorite part!! 

Pre season games

 The girls had a pretty good showing at camp this year. So at the team/parent meeting the coaches had high hopes that the girls would continue and have a great year.  The team was scheduled to have 3 pre season games but only ended up having two since one cancelled from covid.  But we ended up doing pretty well against the two teams that were both 5A schools.

One of the things I have always loved about soccer is the team night dinners.  The girls love them and the boding they get from them is great! 

We also had the red and white scrimmage (the varsity against the JV) the other two girls didn't do this with sc and I love this tradition they have made at Crimson.  It's just a fun night to introduce the team and have a friendly scrimmage.  Our announcer this year is a parent to one of the players and he was so funny all night with his comments.  He was having parents text in little known facts or comments about the players and he would read them.  Of course our girls had to do it and they said "A little known fact about Jantzyn #16 is she used to have a bead jewelry business.  She still has some available if you're interested"...we thought it was hilarious, Jantz not so much.

Back to School 2020

We were pretty busy this summer even with covid so when our friends said they were going to Vegas the weekend before school started (since it had just opened its stores back up) and invited us to go, we jumped at the chance.  Me and Jantzyn rode down with the Nielsen's and Terry and Jaice came down later.  We had fun shopping (and waiting in line to get in stores) at lots of stores and eating at our traditional place we eat with the Nielsen's...Cheescake Factory.  

They would only let us sit 6 to a table so we played musical chairs and turned around and yelled at them a lot...haha

These were only the things they found at the outlets... We found lots more stuff at Ross and the Mall.

Jantz came home with a really good haul.  she found everything she had on her list!

On the first day of school Taylor Fielding had a breakfast at her house for the girls.  So thankfully Robin got a picture of Jantzyn for me.
