Life Lesson Learned

In school this year Jadyn is taking a
teen living class in which they learn a lot of things I wish I they would of taught teenagers when I was young. This lesson was being a teen parent. They had to bring a 10 lb bag of flour or a baby doll weighed down to 10 lbs. Jadyn chose the flour and decorated it with her new baby cousin Jenna's face. They also had to name it she chose Oaklyn Mei. THey had to look up baby items and compare them. When jadyn did this she told me, "Holy Crap babies are expensive". My reply "Ha, Ha, Ha, and that's just the beginning." She had to take the baby everywhere with her, she could use a babysitter twice. She slept with her baby in a
doll baby carrier and had to keep an hourly

journal of what she was doing with the
baby. She only left her in the car once
(she felt terrible) when she went with
Terry to pick up Jantzyn at Robyn's.
I think this was a great lesson for the kids
to see they are not ready to be parents yet
and I think she learned that in that short
week.

Jadyns Powder Puff Football Game

Do you really want some of this?

Warming up before the game.
The Mighty Lady Warrior 9th grade offense waiting to take the field.

The 9th grade gang after the game. They beat the 8th graders an embarrasing 34-0.

Jorrin's 2nd Gekathon

Jorrin wanted to do the Gekathon (mini triathon) again this year.
Only this year she didn't have time to train and she had the flu 2 days before. But she finished it and we are sooo proud of her!

Swimming one of 12 lengths of the pool.

Riding her bike on the 3 mile route to the school

Running the last lap of her 2 mile run.

Receiving her award for particpating.

Jorrin and Jaicelyn sing at the Annual Lin's Holiday Open House

They both did a good job. Way to sing girls.

Jaicelyn sang a solo that she had to try out for and did a great job!

November updates

Jantzyn was STAR OF THE WEEK!

She had fun decorating her poster and picking out her favorite toy for the class to guess.

The girls met their newest cousin Jenna. We had to set the timer for each of them to take turns holding her.

Here are a few of our Halloween Happenings this year.

Jantzyn in her school parade

Jaicelyn in the parade

Jantzyn really wanted to carve her pumkin (everyone helped). Didn't it turn out cute!

Jantzyn wanted a picture in her Halloween shirt by our scary cat.

Jantzyn as cute Dorothy with her Todo.

Jaicelyn wanted to be a cat but when my friend at work said she could make a cute Cheetah costume Jaice was all for it (thanks Mandi!). Isn't she the cutest cheetah ever!

Jorrin decided at the last minute to dress up and went as a 80's workout girl. Work it, Work it!

Terry was the scariest thing of all, a Utah fan in a household/neighborhood of BYU fans.

The girls trick or treating at Grandma and Grandpa Cowley's

Family Halloween Party

This year Grandma Losee decided to have a halloween party. We ate dinner the kids went trick or treating, we played games and watched a performance of Thriller the kids made up. It was a very fun Halloween. Thanks Grandma!
