December 2011

December is always one of my favorite months. It was filled with Singing performances, Dancing perfomances, lots of family traditions like looking at lights and watching our favorite Christmas movies (Mr. Kruger's Christmas, A Christmas Story, Elf, The Grinch, and many more), reading lots of Christmas stories. This year we tried an example from the book "The Last Straw". The girls picked names each week and had to do secret services for that person all week. Each time they did the service they got to put a star on our board. Jantzyn definitly had the most stars. Jaicelyn got her cast off and we had lots of family visit. I loved it!

What's December without Jaice's Coyote Crooner Christmas Concert....
and singing at the Dicken's Festival. Terry took the girls this year while I was out my work party in Las Vegas.

Jantzyn performed for her dance studio's Charity concert. She did a great job!!

November 2011

Our November consisted of the usuall....

Thanksgiving...after a yummy dinner with Terry's extended family the kids always unwind playing games and running around while the adults look through the ad's for black fri.
We also had the thanksgiving soccer tournament that both Jaice and Jady were in that resulted in.....
Jaicelyn's first broken arm. She got kicked really hard by a ball that a girl was kicking, heading toward the goal, Jaicelyn stepped in front and sacrificed her body to save the goal.
Jadyn's team won their division. They got to play the girls from Ogden that knocked them out of the running for state. It left good to get a little revenge.

Jadyn's Sadies Day Date

For Jadyn's day date they met at Jenna's house then they split off into groups of 2 or 3 couples for a scavenger hunt. Jadyn and Jake went with Jenna and Nakoni.

take a picture of 2 hot people
do a back flip on a tramp
shoot a basket
ride a what a ma call it around a thing a ma jigger
make a piramid
swing
hold a baby (that is jantzyn by the way)
play ring a round the rosie with kids
wear a halloween costume
hug a bishop
play a wii game
golf
sing a song in the mall
get a picture with mall employees (those are jadyn's bosses)
ride a bike
shake a DI employee's hand
rake leaves
brush their teeth
and i'm not sure what this was supposed to be.

I do know that they had a lot of fun running around doing these all day long.

Jorrin dance performance and Powder Puff Football Game

Jorrin's Dance Co was asked to perform at the high school Sadies Assembly. This years Sadies them was Circus Du Sadies, so they did a weird circus number that i loved when i saw.

The middle school also had their annual Powder Puff game between the 8th and 9th grade girls. Needles to say the 9th graders won. 18-0 Jor loved playing (although she didn't get the rules her meaning of blocking was holding on the the girl for dear life aka Holding) she got away with it a couple times but finally did get called.
