Jadyn's Senior Ball 2012

It took a while and a lot of changing her mind on how to do it, but Jadyn finally answered Jake for senior ball.  On the Wed before Easter she put this cute answer on his bed while he was at work.

On Sat April 21st the big day finally arrived.  For the day date they went to the park and had a huge billboard sign they put dish soap and water on and made a big slip and slide.  The boys bought sandwich fixins and had cookies and treats to eat.  At about 3:30 she came home to get ready.

She requested one of my good friends from work Trichele come and do her hair for her and she did an amazing job.  She looked beautiful.
 the finished back view...
and the beautiful front view (with her beaming smile)
her cute lace Toms she got for her birthday to match.
 the proud parents...

Jadyn trying to pin the Boutonniere on about two seconds after this picture Jake screamed and jumped so Jadyn wouldn't finish and ...

Jake had to put it on himself.
putting Jadyn's corsage on was a little easier.   They really need to come up with an Velcro boutonniere.
 Dont they look cute!
 Showing off their cool shoes.
On there way to pictures, dinner, and the dance.
The group
The fabulous four... Jake, Jadyn, Taylor, and Tavin.
 Jake loved his suspenders.
 The cute couple.

After pictures they ate at Outback and went to the dance, after the dance they went to Iceberg for ice cream.  Jadyn had a great time and was glad she got to go with her best friend.

Jaicelyn's softball

This year we let Jaice decide if she wanted to play softball again and if she did if she wanted to try out for major or stick with the triple aaa league one more year.  She decided she did want to play and to stay in the triples where she would have more playing time.  If was a wise decision she has had a great season so far.  She has hit and scored at least once in every game she has played and has played catcher (which she likes because she is moving the whole time) and pitcher and done very well.

Jaicelyn's Last Elementary track meet

On Thursday April 19th, Jaice had her last Hershey's track meet so I took the day off to watch her.  It was fun, i even let Jadyn sluff her body toning class so she could come over to the field and watch for a while.  Jaice did really well she got 1st in the long jump for the 2nd year and came in 3rd in the 200 and 2nd in the 4x100 relay.

Getting ready to stick her amazing jump
she landed 6' 10 inches and was upset because last year she jumped 7' but thats ok she still won.
getting ready to run the 200 meter
 coming into the home stretch.
she went so fast i almost missed her completely.
doing some bonding exercises with her team.

taking the hand off to run the 3rd leg in the race.

keeping ahead of the competition.

Jorrin Makes Eshelles!!

After a long hard year of going back and forth from trying out for cheer or Eshelles, Jorrin finally made the decision to do Eshelles. Tryouts camp was this last week and tryouts were on Wed April 11th. She was soo nervous. On wed morning Terry gave her a blessing to calm her nerves and we gave her a cute candy bar sign to cheer her on. I was so nervous for her I forgot to take any pictures of the tryout, but she did awesome. I was so impressed she did better then even i expected (and i knew she would do good). I could hear people wondering who number 20 was, and I proudly thought...that's my Jor! They had tryouts at 3:15 got done about 5:00 and had to return at 8:30 to receive their letter to let them know if they made it or not. If they did they had a get to know you party at 9:00 at their advisors home. So in between the waiting time Jorrin went with some of the girls, Jadyn and Tavin for ice cream and then they all came and watched part of Jadyn's soccer game. We all left early (except jadyn) to go with her to be with her while she read her letter.

Her good luck sign. It worked!

Thumbs up, YES she made it!!!
Jorrin and one of her best friends Jordyn both made it!

Friday Night Fun!

Every year for D Week at the college they have a carnival on Fri night. This year only the 2 little girls wanted to go so they invited some friends and had a blast. We ate yummy bbq hamburgers and hot dogs (they are really good I love them). Had unlimited snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, and ice cream. Then they played dodge ball, jumped on a tramp, played on bounce house obstacle courses, had faces painted, balloon people made, and their favorite rolled in a hamster ball.

Jaicelyn's last couple performances for Coyote Crooners

Jaice had her final concert as a Coral Cliffs "Coyote Crooner" yesterday. I think it was bitter sweet for her and me. I can't believe she is going to be in 6th grade next year time goes by way too fast. She did awesome in her concert yesterday but since i forgot my camera i posted some pictures of her at her last Tuachan performance on Tues April 3rd.
