Soccer, soccer, and more soccer!

The first weekend in February we had planned on Jaices team to be in a new local tourney (since they couldn't play in the Presidents cup this year) but I guess they needed more teams so they also invited Jantzyn's team to play too.  We then found out Teegan's team was coming down from Salt lake.  So when the times came we found they were all one right after each other each day so we tried to make it to all three kids games each day.  It was a fun weekend.  It was also Terry's bday weekend and he wouldn't have had it any other way then to watch soccer for his party!!!
Terry visiting with some of the other dads before Jantzyn's game.

Jaice had to ref in between her games.  One game was at the same time as Jantzyn's so she rode out with us.  It was so funny when I noticed she grabbed brown socks out of Terry's drawer instead of black.  Oh well it worked...haha!

Teegan has just come out for a breather so I sent this to Whit.

watching Teegans game in between jantzyn, jaice reffing, and the girls other games.

Jantzyn's team played some really hard teams from up north but they hung in most of the games.

Teeg in action.

Jaice's teams only ended up playing 2 out of their 3 games.  But they played very well in both games.

We had our second tourney of the month over Presidents day weekend.  All of the games this time were in Mesquite and it was just Jantzyn's team playing.  We had a game Thurs, Fri, and Saturday.  It was another very tough tourney both physically and mentally for the girls.  They also battled the rainy weather all weekend.  It was a frustrating weekend and they should have won 2 of their games but it just didn't go their way.   It was definitely a learning tourney for them.

The Real Lion Mascot was down at the tourney and got in the girls huddle before their games.  They loved it!

Other January happenings

We had Gma over for Dinner to celebrate her birthday!!

Took some more pictures of our always gorgeous view.

Terry finished the project (taken from Robyn) to  hold all the girls stuffed animals.

finished reorganizing the play room.

Made some Winter crafts

and Jantzyn chopped 4 inches off her hair.

Jaicelyn's first high school formal

One of Jaicelyn's good friends Tristan asked her to go to the dance with him.

She anwered him this way and then she dinged the doorbell and ran so he would open the door and see his car.

It was another Masquerade so I tried once again to get in touch with my crafty self.  I wasn't very happy to find out she was the only one that even did a mask and that they weren't even allowed to wear masks at the dance anyway.

For their day date they met at Harry's houses had cereal for breakfast and then headed up to Pine Valley to sled and play in the snow.  They got back and had lunch at Jimmy Johns before heading home to get all beautified for the dance.

My Beautiful girl!!!

After a couple of tries we finally got the boutineer on Tristan and they were off!!

These cute bracelts were their tickets to get in the dance.  Such a cute idea!!

They had a very fancy and yummy dinner at Kyles house.

After dinner they played games and visited until time for the dance.  They boogied for a couple of hours then went for games at Danes house then headed home from her fun eventful first dance day!
