End of year Eshelle Banquet

It's sad but true.  The last Eshelle gathering happend.  The end of the year Banquet.  It was a lot of fun.  Good food, cute presentations, and of course lots of pictures.
One last picture of the 12-13 team.  Jor will miss this team so much.

Jor and her best friend Jordyn being, well, themselves.

 The sophmores (missing Adrianna).
Jor made some good friends on the team this year, Clara and Jorrin
Jor and her "buddy" that ended up being a good friend, Alivia Snow.

Jor and her coaches, Christy and Shaunasey.

Easter 2013

The Easter Bunny was good again to the girls this year.  Their favorite thing was a season pass to Seven Peaks Water Park.  They also got a couple of little things and of course their swimsuits from G-ma Losee.

My 4 Beautiful girls in their new Easter Dresses (thanks Gma Cowley).

Jantzyn meets the Easter Bunny

It's sad but really we only have one little one anymore.  The college (sorry university) was having their annual employee family Easter egg hunt for kids under 12 so we took our only one (and the only one home that day) that fit that category and she had so much fun.

Color Palooza

Eshelles were invited to participate in the color palooza dance off.  Jor said it was a lot of fun.

Jadyn's B-day gifts

We Celebrated Jadyn's b-day many different days.  The first was her big present but we gave it to her a couple of days early so Jake could be here when we gave it to her.  Drum Roll.....

Two tickets to Imagine Dragons.  It took her a while to decide but she is going to take Jake.
He also gave her her gift from him that weekend, a very pretty diamond heart necklace and a huge (and i mean huge) picture of the Paris landscape.

The 2nd day was about 10:30 on her actual B-day we gave her a couple of more gifts.  She got a shirt she wanted, and a turquoise ring.

Jor so happy to be part of it all.
 Jantzyn was happy too.
The thirst was when she actually got to eat her Berry Cheesecake (2 days after her b-day).  Again this was at 10:00 at night after she got home from work.
All in All i think she had a pretty good first Adult B-day.

4 trips up North in less than 2 weeks time

We have made 2 or 3 trips up north in a month before but never have we done 4 in less than 2 weeks.  We knew Terry's grandpa Losee was starting not to do well and we knew we had a time frame to say our goodbyes.  So on Conference Sunday (April 7th) we drove up to Delta to visit with Grandpa.  It was nice to spend time with him.  He didn't really talk very much but it was just nice to see him and let him know we loved him.
On Sat. April 13th we drove to Payson for Ethan's baptism.  Right before we headed in to the chapel.  We received word that Grandpa had died.  When I heard I felt peace and calm and happiness.  Knowing that grandpa had a wonderful life.  He misses grandma so much and I could just imagine how happy he was getting to see her again.  We spent the rest of the day, feeling the spirit of Ethan's baptism and enjoying visiting family at Kevin and Jen's house.  We were going to stay over night but with everything that happened that day we decided to come home at got home around 11:45 pm

Our third trip was our Bon Jovi up and back (see previous post).  We thought about selling out tickets and not going but I knew Terry had been looking forward to it for so long that we decided to go ahead and go.  I am so glad we did even though we are so tired of traveling (and spending gas money).

Our 4th and final trip in the less than 2 week span came Sat April 20th.  We got up early (again) and drove with the little girls, to Delta for grandpa's funeral.  We arrived around 10:30 and visited with family until the funeral began.  After the funeral we stayed long enough to see Grandpa's Military burial and to let Terry let go of a balloon with all 36 of grandpa's grandchildren that came (Terry said they will probably all never be together again).   We had to get home to get the two older girls ready for senior ball so we weren't able to stay for the luncheon.  We stopped at lovely McDonalds and headed home.  We even forgot our favorite Delta tradition getting slurpee's from 7 eleven.  We hopefully will be able to get one last slurpee in Sept for the last reunion in Delta, which will be bitter sweet. PS we forgot our camera in the rush to get out the door so the following pictures we so graciously provider from other family members blogs (so lucky for modern technology), and since this is our scrapbook I know Terry wanted to be able to remember this special day, Thanks.
