Homecoming 2013

Yesterday was Homecoming and it is always so fun the week of Homecoming to go to all the parades and events.

This year Jor was asked by Davis Miller.  It took us a while to clean this up (in fact I am still finding little pieces of paper in jor's room).

The wonderful Homecoming parade.

they looked awesome again.

Jor looked beautiful and had so much fun

On their day date they ate homemade Kneaders breakfast at one of the boys homes and then went hiking the Kannarivile Falls.  She said dinner was "Perfect"  they ate at Davis' grandmas house and she said they had cute place mats and the food was delicious.  Then they had pictures and went to the dance.   She got home at 12:15 and was exhausted but so happy.  I am glad she has a fun memory of her junior year homecoming.

BYU vrs. Texas (or should i say the storm)

Jantzyn had her first soccer game that morning so we all got up early packed up the car went to Jantzyn's rainy game and then headed straight from there to Provo.
Jadyn curling her hair on the way up (we love our outlet in the car)

Once we got there we headed to the tailgate party.  It was sunny and so hot.  I had taken sweatshirts for everyone (except Jor) and decided at the last minute to take them into the game just in case it got cooler when the sun went down.  I am so glad I did

everyone enjoyed the tailgate party and we got lots of fun free stuff like: pop and cookies, sunglasses, shirts, backpacks, bracelets, and Jor even got a scarf

the girls loved getting their faces painted and I am glad I took a picture because it didn't last long when we got pounded by the rain

About 5 mins after this picture a perfect day turned into

This

Us trying to just find a dry spot for a min

after 20 mins Terry came back from looking and told us he found a dryer spot for us

In the corner of this hallway is where we spent the next 1 1/2 hours waiting to see if the game would be played

some of the cougarettes got stuck in the same hallway with us.

There was literal a river running down the street in front of the stadium.

Jantzyn on one of her walk abouts with Terry

Once the game started we forgot about being wet and cold and just enjoyed how awesome they played that night

and of course our treats we enjoyed while watching them beat Texas

After the game we ate at our usual JCW's (even though it was way later than we originally planned on

about 5 minutes after this picture Jantzyn fell asleep and didn't even get to eat her food until the next day.
At least every BYU game we have been to we have had some kind of memory made that we will never forget.

Seven Peak Part II

We had been wanting to use our passes one last time so what better day to do it than on Labor Day, the last day it was open for the season.  We knew it would be busy so we decided to go right when it opened and leave early to let Jor do some school shopping.  We arrived at 9:15 and went straight for the couple rides Terry didn't get to do the last time we were here.
First was the mat race.

Can you guess who won?

Then while the big kids (and Terry) went on some bigger rides I took Jantzyn on the slides she didn't get a chance to go on last time

She loved it.

Jaice joined us in the wave pool for a while

Jantz and Trasen enjoyed the kiddie pool and

the wave pool

Jaice and Kassy joined them

so did Jor and Taylor

Jadyn trying out the yellow slide

Terry loved the big blue one

Waiting in line for their last ride at Seven Peaks.

I am glad we got the passes I think everyone had a good time each time we went and we definitely got our money's worth.
