General Conference weekend

On Friday Jaice had to ref in Sullivan Soccer park so we decided we would drive her out and then go check out the trail that goes along the park.  We had no idea how far back it went.  We ended up making it to the boardwalk and then decided to head back.  It was so pretty and peaceful along the path.  It went right along the river.  Another beauty we get to enjoy living in southern Utah.  On Saturday Jaice had a game in Cedar and Jantz one in Vegas.  So Jaice and I rode up to Cedar with my parents.  They ended up winning the team 10-0.  They played with only 8 players and had restrictions on the things they could do but it was still fun to watch.  After my mom and dad treated us to lunch at Pizza Factory before listening to conference on the way home.  Terry drove Jantzyn down to Vegas where they played a little harder team.  The #2 team in Nevada to be exact.  The girls hadn't played since February but still ended up coming away with a 1-0 win.   Good Job girls!!  After they game Terry took Jantzyn to her favorite Chick Filet for lunch and got home around 6:30 pm.  We just enjoyed the nice weather and watched a show together the rest of the night.  Sunday was general conference.  Jadyn and Jake usually come over but they were heading home from up north so it was just the four of us.  We had our traditional orange rolls and enjoyed watching conference in our PJ's.

Jorrin and Bridger were able to see conference live this year.  She had so much fun!

The rest of the weekend

Jaicelyn had a soccer game so we headed to that at 5:00 then over to Josh and Jessi's wedding reception.  Jor has been good friends with Josh since high school and after he got home from his mission and started dating Jessi she and Jor became really good friends.  So of course she was one of her bridesmaids.  Our family loves Josh and Jess too and we had so much fun at the reception just hanging out, dancing, and sending the couple off.

It was spring break for northern utah and so Austin brought the family down along with Whitney.  Sunday we took the girls to see the waterfalls at gunlock.  They were not as full as last time but it was still fun.  Everyone from northern utah must of heard about them though cause it was sooo packed.  We only stayed about an hour and then headed home to eat dinner and play games with Jor and Bridger before they had to leave at 6:00.  After they left the rest of us headed up to mom and dad cowley's to visit and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Jadyn B-day!!

I had put some fun pictures on instagram to celebrate her day and thought i would put them on the blog too.  She hated most of them but I love each one because they bring back so many good memories of my oldest baby.  I can't believe she is already 24.  Time really does go way too fast.

Jor was down for the weekend so we went with Jadyn to lunch and did a little shopping before Jor had to be at her friends wedding.
