On Saturday May 19th, Jadyn had to play in the state soccer cup tournament and it was Jantzyn's b-day on Sunday when we would be travelling home so we decided to surprise her and take her to the zoo after Jadyn's game. All the girls knew but her and they were actually good about keeping it a secret. We left at 6:00 am.
Getting ready at the hotel the other soccer girls stayed at while Jadyn was in a quick meeting with the team.
After the game we gave jantzyn a early gift to unwrap. It was a book called Giraffes Can't Dance and a stuffed animal Giraffe with a note tied to it's neck that said I cant wait to meet you in person later today. She guessed what it was right away and was so excited to go. First stop was to the monkey's they are always so fun to see. We saw lots of other animals too....
this huge tortoise was climbing up the wall to say hi.
Jantzyn's favorite was the Giraffes of course...
Jacielyn's was this funny gorilla...
I loved this peacock, it's color was so pretty...
There was a little family of geese that reminded me so much of my four the mom and dad would waddle all over and the four would follow and once we caught to of the gees-lings fighting..it definitely reminded me of these four.
Jantzyn wanted a picture a every picture spot available.
We also saw an alligator...
the biggest monkey of all...
A "redhead" duck ...
a bat....
and a family of groundhogs.
All the girls had fun even the older two reminisced about when they were younger and how much they loved the zoo.
