Jorrin had her two last December drill competition's up north. The first was at UVU on Dec 6th. We headed up Fri night after the girls got out of school. We are loving Jadyn's discount from working at the Hilton Inn and stayed at a hotel right across from UVU. We got up early and headed for our day long drill watching. They did awesome at the competition walking away with 4th over all.
The four besties (two sister sets), Jordyn (Jor's best friend), Taylor (Jadyn's best friend and Jordyn's sister). So fun!
Her second competition was a week later at Juan Diego High School Jorrin has wanted to do a solo her senior year and this was her first competition to do it. So we headed up Fri in time to see her solo. She pulled a muscle in her inner thigh a couple days before the competition so we held our breath as she competed her solo and each dance. She looked so good in her solo. I was so proud of her and the beautiful dancer she has become. She placed 4th in her solo and the team walked away 1st overall in the competition.
the only picture I managed to get at this competition. But Terry took a few (remember these compeptitions go from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm, it's a long long day). Plus he wasn't even there for most of the day. His mission president passed away and had his funeral was that day in Salt Lake so Terry was able to attend it and see some of his old mission companions and friends.
She also has performed a couple times a basketball games already. This was the first time we saw their dance routine. It is very different this year, but the more I see it the more I like it.
