Jantzyn is a big Freshman this year!! She is loving 9th grade so far and loves being on the girls high school soccer team.
I never did get a first day of school picture for Jaice because she is a senior she doesn't have school until 3rd and 4th period everyday. She is loving that!! She will start hair school at 8:30 on October 9th so until then she is enjoying the extra sleep.
First preseason games!! The girls had to miss the 2nd and third day of school but they didn't care they were excited to go on a trip!!
There first game was against a 5a westlake school and the girls did very well and ended up in a tie 1-1

They both played amazing and I was so proud of them both!!
2nd game was against Spanish Fork who was supposed to be really good, but we ended up winning I think 4-1.
Again both girls did so well and Jantzyn almost scored a couple of times.

First season game was supposed to be at home but because the field wasn't done we played (well almost played) at Hurricane. The JV got over and then a big lightening storm hit and the game was delayed and we ended up finishing the game at home winning 7-0.

My favorite part of Jantzyn's season was playing all her friends at their schools. After each game they would go and hug each other and get pictures together. Jantzyn even scored on one of her best friends on the team and she even still gave her a hug after the game. It was so funny she was so excited to score then as soon as she realized it was on Ellie she felt bad. Terry and I are good friends with her parent and we usually go out to eat with them once a month. As soon as Jantz scored we texted them and made sure we were still on for our dinner date...haha!!

Jaice had another amazing game against Dixie. It has been so fun see her this year just owning her position. Soccer has been hard for her there were many times she felt like giving up. I remember 3 days before school starting and she still didn't know if she wanted to play or not. But she decided she was going to stick it out and play for herself not for anyone else. Once she finally made that decision she just let go and played and the results were amazing.
Terry doing yard work on Labor Day this year. The girls had practice and we decided we would just stay in town and get stuff done.
