Jadyn has loved every minute of her soccer season this year. She has met many new friends and has learned and grown so much both as a person and soccer player in just the 5 months since she started practicing with the team in the summer. She has started on JV all season and has played quite a few varsity games as well. In her last JV game she played the whole game when the coach finally took her out with 6 mins left we clapped and were so proud of her thinking she was done, then he put her right back in as a forward and she scored the last goal of the JV season! We have all loved watching her play in each game. We have learned a lot about the game this year and have enjoyed meeting and getting to know the parents of her teammates. Thanks to everyone for their support this year. Jadyn loves having fans! What a great year!
The whole year Jadyn has been asking Terry and I "Do you think I will make it next year?" We just laugh and make jokes with her about it. But I think her chances are quite good of making it again next year.

How I spent my B-day!

Jadyn and Jorrins Dance studio had a chance for the girls to perform at the BYU-UNLV half time on Sat. and they were offering tickets for family for a really cheap price so we checked with everyone and we decided the whole family wanted to go. Jadyn and Jorrin had to be there at 10:00 for a practice so I drove them down and Terry and the rest came down later.
After the practice we had the rest of the day to do nothing so I thought it would be fun to take the girls shopping at a mall that had more the one story. The funny thing is though, everything we bought we have that store in St. George, oh well it was the experience right?
Terry, the two little ones and his mom and dad arrived at 5:30 so they took me to dinner for my B-day (I have a lovely sombrero to show for it), and then we headed to the game. Everyone had a great time watching the game eating tons of treats that Grandma supplied (I still dont know how she got away with sneaking it in), and even though I was worried how Jaice and Jantz would do they had a ball.

First Day of School......Finally!
Jantzyn has been waiting for this day all summer long. It's finally here.....Her 1st day of Kindergarten. Last Thursday when the girls all got to go she was disappointed that she wasn't going with them. But she made it through the weekend (each day was too long for her) and today was the big day.

Jantzyn waiting in line for the bus.

My baby getting on the BIG bus. I can't believe she is going off to school already. Time does fly.

Creepy Crawley's....Ouch!!!
At about 1:20 last night I felt something crawl on my right arm and a few seconds later a biting feeling (like something was knawing) on my upper left arm. I sat up fast and thought I was dreaming but then Terry asked if I felt like something was crawling on me. When I said yes, he said he had felt something too. So we jumped out bed and started shaking all the covers and blankets, we moved the bed out, and finally I shook my pillow and out crawled what looked almost exactly like the picture below. I started screaming and freaking out because I knew by that time it had bit me and that they are poisonous. Terry put it in a plastic container incase we needed to take it to the hosptial or something.
I immediately called poision control. They lady (Kathy she is on a first name bases with me now) told me that usually in United States the most worry is from secondary infection. That its usually in other countries that your skin will fall off. That didn't make me feel any better. She told me I needed to wash it with soap and water put ice packs on for the pain and take tylenol or ibuprofen. She asked if I have ever been allergic to bug bites and I told her no. She said she would call back in an hour to make sure I was ok.
In the meantime Terry and I went to look up any info we could find on the internet. Im not so sure that was a good idea, one site had stories of people who had been bitten. They all made it sound horrible. Also by this time my arm was starting to shoot pain up and down and throb. I started icing my arm and it burned.
After making it worse by looking at the internet Terry and I finally went to lay back in bed and wait for Kathy's call. My arm kept shooting pain and throbing. At 2:30 she called and asked it was having any allergic reaction. I told her no but my arm was killing me. She told me it should be subsiding and she would call back in a couple of days to see how I am doing.
I think I finally fell asleep (after having anxiety, which is one of the symptoms from the internet) at 3:30 and dreamed all night about bugs!
This morning my arm is still throbing and very sore, but the site where it bit me isn't swollen, or blistering (which were also suppposed to be symptoms from the internet) infact I don't even feel a bump. Hopefully this is all that happens and my skin doesn't fall off. I am also thankful I stepped on that rake and have had a tetnus shot within the last year. (The internet said to have one).
I still get the shivers every time I think about it crawling on me. I am glad that it was me and not one of the girls though.
Side note.....The whole time we were looking Terry thought I had been bit by a scorpion so he was relieved when he saw the centipede crawl out. I guess a scorpion would have been worse.
Another side note....The girls slept through everything. And I was full on screaming!
