Spring Break

Spring break was relaxing and a lot of fun this year. Terry's sister Robyn invited us to do some things her girls had chosen that were free or cheap (with great coupons). We were so glad they invited us because my girls loved the whole week. This picture was taken on thursday activity skim boarding (I didn't get it added in the right order and couldn't figure out how to move it).

Sunday Jorrin did our family night lesson. She did a great lesson on
Jantzyn getting ready for prayer.
Jorrin giving her lesson.
On Wed we had a play with the neighbors day. Jaicelyn's friend Sammi came over and said she had soo much fun at our house which was nice to hear usually my girls say our house is boring.

On Mon. we went to the "spinny" park and the kids (big and small) had fun.
Jaice and Sadie getting ready to go down the slide
Jorrin amazed at how much fun it is at the park.
Pure joy on this face.
The big kids taking a break from the action.
They loved this swing.
Tavin and Jake seeing how dizzy they could get Jadyn.

Jadyn trying with all her might to push Jake to the top
It was a little easier for Jake and Tavin.
Relaxing
The big boys turn.
After they got tired of being dizzy they played in the river.

On Tues morning Jadyn woke up to a text from Jake telling her to check her car. This is what she found.
After a while we discovered there was a reason ...
on covering the clue
Jake asked her to PV's Senior Ball.

It made her morning!!!
That afternoon we went with everyone to Anti-Gravity. It was our first time going there and the kids has a lot of fun.
First stop was the huge trampoline area.
Everyone getting use to the tramps
they loved running up the wall and then jumping onto the tramp.
Or just resting on it for a minute.
They had bounce trains.
and flipping contests
and Jadyn and Jake had a race.

you be the judge of who won.

After they got tired of the tramps they tried a harness race.
you have to try to get as far as you can and grab a bean bag.
it was hard work.
Jaice and Sadie battling it out.
Jorrin takes on Gentry.
They had a kids area too that Jantzyn and Gentry tried out.
Their turn to battle. Jantzyn could barely lift the pole it was so funny. Even though she didn't think so.
Jorrin's turn to try to grab the bean bag.

Even Terry got in on the battling action and he took it outside the ring.
The younger kids version.
The last thing they tried was playing trampoline dodge ball. The side our kids were on usually didn't last very long.
So Terry and the older kids tried to help out.
They didn't do much better.

On Thursday the girls went skim boarding (see above picture) they had a lot of fun!. On Fri they went to the St. George Rec Center played racketball, dodge ball, climbed on the climbing wall and just had more fun. Then that night they slept at Robyn's house (which was the highlight of the week for Jantzyn). It was a great spring break!

Jadyn's Preference 2012

Jadyn took one of her best guy friends to Preference this year. They had a really great time. For the day date a couple of the girls in the group and one of the boys had softball and soccer games going on at the school all day. So they went and got sandwiches and treats and took Frisbee's and balls and hung out watching them. Then they went to one of the girls houses and took pictures, played games, and had homemade Cafe Rio for dinner. After the dance they went for ice cream.

Jadyn and Brandon having fun posing before the rest of the group got there.
My beautiful Jadyn ready for the dance.
I did Jadyn's hair myself and I think it turned out pretty good!
Jadyn and me trying out the self timer on the camera. It took a couple of trys but I think we finally figured it out.

The group: Jadyn/Brandon Benson, Katelyn Alexander/Tyler Clarkson, Jessica Bryan/Cameron Densley, Jenna Williams/Cody Timmons, Tara Lee/Chris Hatfield, Sammy Bryner/Austin Davis, Ashlee Svedin/Kurt Wilde.

Jantzyn's Readers Cafe

On Fri March 9th Terry and I were able to go to Jantzyn's 2nd grade class and listen to her read a book she had been practicing for their annual Reader's Cafe. She had also made a menu that told us why she chose the book and what she liked about it along with a picture. It was alot of fun and she was so excited we came, especially Terry. She kept telling all the kids this is my dad!

Dixie College Basketball Game

Terry took the 2 little girls to the last couple of Dixie College games. They seem to really enjoy watching them. This time they saw the Denver Nuggets Mascot "Rocky" and got his and the Dixie College mascot's autographs after the game. Terry said that they are related. The mascot for Denver is the Dad to the mascot for Dixie College.
