Last year at the reunion everyone new this would be the last (and that was only because Terry's Aunt and Uncle Dean and Karen and his mom and dad got put in charge of it). The girls had been counting down the days to our last Delta trip. They were all so excited yet so sad at the same time. We tried hard to enjoy all of the traditions they have made one last time for the 2 days we were there. This time just didn't seem the same though. We went to the park but there wasn't a lot of family there. It was mostly The Glen Losee family. We went to the hardpan but earlier than usual (the kids usually get to swim before we go) so more family could join us. We came back early from the hardpan and the kids took advantage to swim as long as they could one last time in our Delta Hotel. On Sunday we went to Grandpas but it was empty and so it was hard to enjoy the memories. We visited the cemetery and said our goodbyes to Grandpa and Grandma and the rest of the family probably for the last time in Delta. I have been coming with Terry since before we were married. It's the only Labor day weekend trip i remember. I wonder what we will do next year on Labor Day weekend to start new traditions. Hopefully my kids will remember Delta each year when we celebrate Labor Day. Below are some pictures of traditions new and old we have from our Last Delta Reunion.
