It's beginning to look a lot like....back to school!

We had been wanting to take the girls to Vegas to go shopping and it just didn't happen this year.  So we did most of our shopping on line and then spent an afternoon here in St. George getting the rest of what we needed.

Our school shopping lunch tradition!

Jantzyn first day of  6th grade and Intermediate School.  She loves having 6 different classes and teachers, but does not like getting up at 6:30 am every day.

Jaice 9th grade, Freshman.  Loves ruling the school.  Does not like the new math Alex program.

Jor was still not feeling well from her wisdom teeth but got to sleep in on the girls first day.

Jor's first day she came home and started on homework already.

I love pinterest and this year I decided to try decorating for back to school to see if it would help everyone be in the mood for it to start a little more.  It didn't work but it sure was fun and turned out cute.

Jorrin's wisdom teeth are gone....finally!!!

For months Jor has been worrying about this day....dun dun dun...getting her wisdom teeth removed.  I knew we needed to do it before the girls started so school and we got busy.  So we did it the last Fri in July.  She did really well and made it through.  She had some hilarious comments on her video (if you ever get the chance to see your children uninhibited on legal drugs you should really take it). I think my favorite thing she said was.  "That was sooo easy,  what was I so worried about?"   And "I look so pretty for just getting my teeth out."
I did forget to tell the doctor she was allergic to latex though and she had a harder time healing because of all the cankcor sores she got from it.  I felt horrible but she was tough and we made it through.  Two down, Two to go.

Jaicelyn becomes a lady warrior!

Yay!!! She did it!!! we were so nervous the morning they found out.  Terry and I were both at work and she was home just waiting.  Terry decided he better be here with her when the list went up on the website but he got the call on his way home from Jaice that her name was on the list!  We were so happy and relieved.  She worked so hard all summer for this and was so worried.  I am happy to say I get to have round 2 of being a soccer mom.

My little note to help Jaice kick but at tryouts!! She loves pineapples!

Congratulations!  All that are on this list remember there is a player only meeting at 3:00 this afternoon in Coach Kunde's Room.

Practice tomorrow morning 6:30am be stretched and ready to go.

Tomorrow 8/6 there will be a parent meeting in room 206 at 6:00PM.

And last but not least with the awesome coaches.

The Cabin Part 5

The cabin as always was a fun adventure.  On the way up Jake and Jadyn had to pull over about every 5 mins to let the truck cool down or it would over heat.  We stopped the last little way to make sure they made it up the hill.  Needles to say the truck has now been sold and Jake is loving his new low maintenance truck.

We went straight to the lodge and starting riding the tubes with everyone else that was already there.  They were so much fun!!!

Then we pulled up to find this cute sign made by Lacey!!!

She also did many photo shoots of the girls

Terry and i enjoying ourselves.

and so did the girls

On Sat we went down to the park and had the first "Losee Olympics"  it was a lot of fun and the kids  (by kids I mean all of us) got into it.

Terry went up against Jaice in the snowball game and just switched the full bowl for the empty the look on Jaices face was priceless.

confussion...

shock!

Also on Sat Mom and Dad Losee gave us a lesson on having a firm foundation in our lives.  It was special and everyone felt the spirit.

then came the dance.  Tracy worked all day on putting up lights and putting a play list together.  Each couple got to dance to their song and then everyone joined in.  We had so much fun the neighbors even heard us and sent a Marshall to make sure we weren't having too much fun.

On Sunday right before everyone headed off we too family pictures.  I sure love this little family of mine....

and big one too!  Until next year we'll miss you cabin.
