The girls each had a little something waiting for them after school
Jantzyn was so excited about her American Girl Doll outfit!
She also got a secret Valentine (we think from some of the girls in the ward)
Jaicelyn also got a valentine this year (although she stayed home sick that day her valentine brought it to our house). He gave her this cute bear, and some Jolley Ranchers.
Jorrin had her first valentine this year too! He spoiled her and gave her something in every class. Then the next day he gave her another chocolate rose.
She gave him a teddy bear, and his favorite sour candy and soda.Jadyn got two valentines a early one when we went up to salt lake...24 roses, and her favorite candies...
and another rose delivery on valentines. I always forget to take pictures before she gives Jake his stuff but she gave him some homemade (meaning I helped) chocolate pretzels and a bag of hugs and kisses with little notes about fun things they have done together.
Surprise...Jorrin's Preference Date
Jorrin was not going to preference. But, the night before the preference dance one of Jor's friends called her and told her one of the girls in the group was sick and asked if Jor would mind taking her date for her. Jor being the easy going, friendly girl she is said, "Of course sounds like fun" (especially since the tickets were already paid for). She didn't really know him but makes friends easily so she wasn't worried. For the day date they went to her friend Jamie's cabin in Pine Valley. They made pizzas and had a snowball fight. Then they came back to St George and went to a pawn shop and messed around then to laser mania and played mini golf. For dinner they ate at Marv's and then went to the dance, after the dance they went to another girl in the groups house and played games and had pictures. She ended up having so much fun especially for it being a surprise date.

Jantzyn's Opera
Jantzyn was sooo excited about this opera, she made sure she had all her costumes perfectly put together and couldn't wait for us to see it. It was called "Be a Buddy not a Bully" and was about some kids that went on a magical trip to a fairyland to learn not to be bullies.
She played the part of a princess
and a butterfly.
the surprise ending...we were supposed to wait for the opera to be over before we clapped, and in the final song they paused for a minute and we all clapped, then they started signing again. She thought they were so tricky for doing that.
This girl LOVES soccer
I love watching how much she loves it.
Jorrin's Eshelle Sign
Before the first competition they put up this sign and for some reason it's still up. But it's a fun sign and conversation piece when people come to our house.
I can never get Jor to "just smile"
Dad and Donuts
My kids look forward to this every year. This year only Jantzyn is in Elementary....
and got dad all to her self.
President's Day Soccer Cup
The girls won all but one game and they tied that game, but ended up coming up one goal short in the final, coming in 2nd overall. But they played great and had fun.
They were waiting for the medal ceremony and started playing a game with their rivals the dragons. I was proud of the sportsmanship both teams had.
The Bombers.
