Jaice loses some teeth.

She is the only one of all 4 girls to have all 4 wisdom teeth.  And her two lower ones were getting very close to her nerve.  So we decided we better get them out while we had time before things get really crazy for the summer.  She got them out thurs July 5th.  She was nervous but didn't really show it.  She loved the girls that got her prepped and put her iv in.  She was hilarious after it was over.  She was so worried about making sure she told the nurses, doctor, staff, anyone she saw really; thank you.  The nurse was telling me that the bleeding should stop faster if she would keep biting down on the cotton roll.  But she would not stop talking to do it...Haha!! She was definitely a "chatty cathy" type.  She talked the whole way home.  Including telling the worker at Tropical smoothie thank you from the back seat.  And also the pharmacy tech at Walgreens.  Hopefully neither one of them could hear her but she was trying hard to make sure they knew they were thanked.  The only time she cried was for a second when she came out of the anesthesia and when she was telling us how much she missed Tim.  It was cute and very heart felt.  It made me a little teary eyed knowing how much she really does miss him.  She did say she would move any where with him but that she didn't want to live on a farm because she didn't want to wear cowboy boots.  Haha!! She kept talking until around 4 then she crashed and felt crappy for the next 5 days. Her cheeks got very swollen and she didn't feel very good so we took lots of drives just so she could get out of the house.   She also ended up having an allergic reaction to the antibiotic and got hives all over her body.  Luckily she was almost done taking it and so we just stopped and they went away in a couple of days. She woke up at 12:30 am on the day they were supposed to go to girls camp.  So I ran and got her some benadryl to take so she could make it through until they went away.

Sam came over to sit with her while I had to go to work for a while.

after the pain meds wore off.
 my chubby cheek Jaice.
Tim got to facetime her on Sunday when she still was very swollen and not feeling very good but he still loves her anyway.  One of the things she worried about while she was high.
Love both of those happy faces so much!! They light up when each other is around!

The hives all over her face while she was at girls camp.  They started on her body and ended up on her face too.

Happy 4th of July 2018

It's hard when the 4th is in the middle of the week.  So this year we kept it simple but enjoyable and memorable.  During the day we rested and relaxed and did a little shopping.  Then at 6 we went to mom and dad losee's for our annual BBQ and then to get a snow cone and headed to the college to watch the fire works.
Jaice's chalk drawing tribute to her solider!
Wearing her flag shirt to patriotic.
 going shopping!

This year we had yummy steak.  And everyone got to cook their own.

Red, White and Blue snow cones!!!
Waiting for the rest of the crew to get there.

This year we were right under neath the fire works.  There were times I felt like they were going to fall down right on me.  But is was so cool.  And I did get a little emotional.  I love our country!

doing sparklers with friends after the fireworks.

Jaice is an "adult" (well at least leagally)!

Jaice is probably my easy child when it comes to stuff she wants. She usually is happy with anything but she did send me a list of some things this year so I tried to make it happen.  I can't believe she is already 18.  These last 18 years have flown by.  I am so happy she is a part of our family.  I lives would be so boring without Jaicelyn. With her life is a party and she always keeps us entertained.  I love this girl with all my heart and I am so glad she chose me to be her momma.

She always steals Jantzyn thermo flask so we got her one of her own.

Everyone knows how hard she has been looking for a job and has not been able to find one.  They know she is desperate to earn some money for her trip to see Tim.  So both Gma Losee and Cowley gave her money this year.  That went directly into her "see Tim" fund.
 Juicy perfume

 New pink high top Vans.
the earring's she picked out the one time I finally got her to go shopping with me (she hates shopping)

A "dont tread on me shirt" to match Tim's tattoo.

Jadyn gave her the Polaroid camera she wanted and we supplied the film.

and her favorite gift was a charm necklace with a bullet/army/T.
she also got some cute clothes, a ring, and a  fun little face mask.

He most happy present came the next day when she got her first phone call from Tim.  It was only 10 minutes but it was the best 10 minutes.  She was so happy (and I even think she cried a little).
We didn't get around to taking her for dinner until the first part of July (after she was feeling better from wisdom teeth removal) but she got her favorite Wingers wings, celery with ranch, and strawberry lemonade.

Jakes Softball Game

Jake has been playing on a men's softball league this summer.  My girls used to love going to Terry's games when they were little and so we all went to support Jake at his.  His team is last in the league but they have fun and Jake has had some great hits.

While we were there Jaice was telling me about how this was the first time she met Tim in person.  So of course she had to get a picture of the place they shook hands so she could send it to him in her letter.  She looked so funny but cute standing there shaking his imaginary hand!
 Sending love to her solider.
