We decided since the open house for the Payson temple was open during memorial day weekend we would could go up and spend the weekend and make a little vacation out of it. We headed up early sat morning and headed to the open house. It was the last day it was open so it was packed. It went pretty fast though and the temple was gorgeous. The girls asked a lot of good questions and felt the spirit. After we headed to Kev and Jens to change and then to find a park to eat and then we headed to hike the Timpanogas caves. The hike was 5 miles straight up. It was probably one of the hardest hikes I have ever done, but seeing the caves was worth it. The girls loved it and I loved being together as a family. After we met Austin's family at JCW's and then went to the hotel to swim. While the kids were swimming Terry snuck in Jadyn and Jakes room and left a surprise for them. hehe! The next morning we slept in, ate breakfast, visited with Aust, Marianne and the girls, drove by the Timpanogas Temple for Jadyn, and then headed home. On Mon we just rested and had a bbq with the girls. Sometimes it's the little vacations that are the best.
