Usually memorial day weekend we go to Las Vegas for their soccer tournament but this year since Montana moved up north we decided to try one up there since she was already up there and wouldn't have to travel. We knew if would be against some hard/big teams but the girls were game. So we headed up friday morning.
Jaice and Tim were exhausted they had been up all night for Senior Sunrise and then Tim got up (after getting in at 6:30 am) at 8:00 to go to the recruiting office to fill out paperwork and do a physical test he had to pass off.
We got up to Kaysville and hit lots of holiday weekend traffice. Luckily we left earlier enough and got to the park to get warmed up on time. But we had lots of girls that ended up getting there right before the game started. Next time well know. The girls ended up losing the 2-1.

After the game we headed to our team banquet with all the other families. It was fun but sad. Montana and the girls love each other so much. She cried saying good bye! And it was so funny that while she was giving recognition to people, she had been going on about how awesome Terry is as the team manager and then looked over at me and said, "where is Terry?', I laughed so hard and then said he is getting more food. He wasn't even there so when he walked back in to the room everyone started clapping and cheering for him and he looked so confused. I had to explain what had happened. haha!! The girls gave Montana a gift basket with all her favorite gift cards and things she loves. Then they had made a t shirt with an inside saying of "Sir?!!" and they all signed the back of it. They also had gone early to practice one day and had a team picture taken and framed to give her. She loved all the gifts. We also got to meet the new coach Kelsey. She will be good with the girls too. But Montana will always have our hearts!!

Love all these girls so much,
from front to back, Belle 7, Ellie 3, Emalee 33, Addi 23, Allie 6, Emma 99, Ruth 21, Brynlee 39, Madi 9, Katelyn 12, Alyssa 8, Enid 13, Rachel 18, Taylor 2, Jantzyn 16, Jaiden 18
they also had this one framed so she can remember how they really are.
Their second game was Saturday morning at 9:00. I think this was there hardest game and we ended up in a tie 2-2.
Jaice, Tim and the rest of the teams kids playing during half time
We had a couple hours in between the first and 2nd game on Saturday so we went back to Whits house for a little while then went to get food at subway/Jimmy Johns and then head back to the park to eat it and wait for the game.
enjoying the nice cool weather while waiting.
Jaice got a hold of my phone and had fun taking selfies.
Poor Tim ended up getting allergies really bad. Luckily one of the dads had some allergy med that he took but it knocked him out and he missed most of the second game. He did wake up in time to see the girls come back from being down 3-0 in the first half to getting 2 goals ( and almost 3) in the end of the game. Even though the girls didn't end up getting into the finals we were all so proud of them. These girls were all from 6 A schools and were bigger than girls on our varsity teams down in st. george. They held their own and showed they are there to play.
Since we didn't have to stay up through monday we decided we would stay up Saturday night and go to a bees game and take Tim and Emma to JCW's.
As always it didn't disappoint.
Jor met us for the Bees game and we took her JCW's to her. She was soo happy about food!! The game was so much fun. We had been teasing Emma that a home run ball was going to come right to her and that she should of brought a glove. She was wondering if she tried to catch one if it would break her hand. About 15 minutes later one headed right for us. Her and Jantzyn stood up fast and both looked terrified the moved out of the way and the guy next to us ran over and caught it. It did look like it her his hand. But Emma made it to the big screen with her look of terror and her arms flying trying to get out of the way..haha
Towards the end they came and told us that they were going to be doing fireworks and that we could go find a seat in the seats and finish the game. We found some right over home plate in the front!!
the fireworks were a full on 20 minute show. They put them to patriotic music. It was so much fun!
We ended up getting back to Whitney's around 10:30. Then the kids wanted to watch Greatest showman, since Emma hadn't seen it. Terry and I went to bed around 11:30 (I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer). The rest of the kids and Whit stayed up until 1:00 am laughing and having a good time. The next morning we let everyone sleep in, we got up around 10:00 and got ready to go to a 11:00 sacrament at the church right by Whits. We came back got changed and headed home. It was such a fun weekend.
Jor came and crashed at Whit with us.
Jaice with her mini BOM (that Tim had been reading non stop) and her chapstick. Love this weirdo..haha!
