What can I say except it was the worth the wait of her not being able to play varsity last year.
This girl had an amazing season. She loved every minute of being on the field. And she loved the friendships she made and team spirit even more.
She received many awards this year:
She was a team captain
Player of the game multiple times
1st team all-Region and All State 1st Team
she was awarded MVP for the team this year
and was named one of the best Southern Utah athletes 2020 from the Spectrum.
The crimson girls went from only winning 3 games last year, to playing in the semi final for the 4A state championship and only losing 2-1.
She made her goal of 16 goals and had two assists. Many of her goals or assists were game winning.
But the thing I love most about all her awards is how she humbly accepts them. She is fierce on the field but shy and sweet off it.
We had an amazing team photographer this year and he had over 600 pictures with Jantzyn in them but we narrowed it down to about 50 haha. We have also included pictures we have taken of a year we and she will never forget.
